I want to invite you to a Christmas Party

By Sher at 9:35 pm on | No comments

I want to invite you to an online Christmas Party 2008 Hosted By Lilliput Station

Come in, hang up your coat, and join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Christmas is our favorite time here at Lilliput Station, so we like to start the celebration a little early. We’d love to have you join us for our second annual Online Christmas Party.

What Is The Online Christmas Party?
The Lilliput Station Online Christmas Party is a blog meme hosted by Melissa Telling of Lilliput Station Adventures. It is a way for homeschoolers all over the world to get together and share some Christmas spirit. It is a place to gather new ideas, new recipes, and maybe a few new traditions. It is a time of fellowship and fun, a time to share the love of Christ with all of our online friends. It is our way of making the season a little brighter for those we have never met, but still feel as if we know.

Due to the “busy”ness of the season, the Online Christmas Party will take place during the month of November this year. Hopefully this will give everyone more time to participate, and give us all more time to do the neat crafts and activities that everyone shares.

Cindy’s Perfect Pecan Chicken Salad…

http://www.cindysaffiliates.com/go.php?offer=fruitfully&pid=10

Talk about a YUMMY recipe! This is one of our family favorites.  We make up a batch and serve this one year around. This is great with soups during the Fall…or fruit during the Spring and Summer.  We love it on croissants, wheat bread, or served in a salad. Want a variation? Try adding sliced grapes into this salad. Oh! Make a batch. You will LOVE this one! Just bring this touch of North Alabama to your dinner table.

4    cups cooked and diced chicken breast
1 cup finely diced celery
3 tablespoons lemon juice
¾ cup toasted crushed pecans

Combine and chill for 1 hour.

Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
1/2 –1 teaspoon salt
White pepper to taste
1 teaspoon dry mustard

Mix dressing ingredients and combine with chicken mixture. Serve on a lettuce leaf with other tea goodies!

And to go with the chicken salad how about some tea?
